Tournament Rules
There are a set of rules that must be adhered to by all organizers and participants:
- Cheating, colluding, or match-fixing in any form is strictly prohibited.
- Cross-platform gaming with a PC is only allowed if approved by the organizer, including emulators.
- Participants must provide their in-game names (IGN) to the tournament organizers before the tournaments start. Post your IGN in-app tournament chat.
- If this is missing, prizes will not be paid out.
- To qualify for rewards, screenshot tournament results and post them in the in-app tournament chat to be eligible for prizes.
- If this is missing, prizes will not be paid out.
- Players must show respect towards fellow participants unless the tournament organizers encourage trash-talking.
- Regardless of the above rule, racist, hateful, homophobic, or derogatory speech targeted at users, community members, or staff will not be tolerated.
- For games with ranking systems, participants should use their highest-ranked account.
- Playing under someone else's name or substituting for another player is strictly prohibited.
- The use of any kind of bots in-game is not allowed.
- Tournament organizers have the right to disqualify players who arrive late or fail to show up.
- Tournament organizers cannot compete in tournaments they create if they wish to be eligible for tournament administration fees.
Joining a Free or Sponsored Tournament
There will be two tournament types, Free and Sponsored Tournaments. Free tournaments will not have any currency staked. Sponsored tournaments will allow you to win prizes with no risk.
To find a Tournament to participate in, go to the ‘Tournaments’ tab as shown below.
Here you will find a listing of available Tournaments. You can also apply criteria to your search by using the filter ( A ) on the upper right-hand side.
Once you have found the tournament you’d like to join, click on the ‘open’ option and join!
You can find your enrolled tournaments on your profile page by clicking ‘Joined Tournaments.’ You can also see the tournaments you’re hosting by selecting ‘Created Tournaments.’
Organizing a Free or Sponsored Tournament
To organize a tournament, select the ‘Create New Tournament’ ( A ) option at the top of the tournament screen.
The following steps are to select a game you’d like to organize; then, you will need to fill out general information such as:
- Tournament name
- About
- Schedule
- Rules
- Public or Private
- If your tournament is private, generate your code before proceeding to the next page.
- Schedule
- The start date and time will be in your local timezone
- And the option to add a banner
When the information above is filled out and proceeding to step two, you will need to select:
- Mode
- Player vs. Player or Team vs. Team
- Type
- Player vs. Player
- Duel
- Battle Royale
- Team vs. Team
- Duel
- Player vs. Player
After selecting your mode and tournament type, click ‘Publish’ to successfully create your tournament!
Currently, we only have one winner slot; if you’d like more than one winner, add it to the ‘about’ section and announce it in your tournament chat. We will manually distribute prizes accordingly.
Public vs. Private Tournaments
Tournaments can either be public or private. Public means anyone can join and is listed in a searchable database.
Private is for invited participants. After creating a tournament, the organizer can send invites to users within and outside the system by copying the invite link and sharing it with whom they’d like to invite. Creating a private tournament is a better fit if you’d like to play with specific players or if you’re hosting multi-round competitions.
If the tournament is private, contact your Tournament Organizer for the code.
If you’re looking to make some friends to compete with, join our Discord!
Tournament Types
There are three tournament types:
- Duel
- Battle Royale
- Single Elimination
- The Single Elimination feature is currently not accessible in the Closed Beta, but click here to see how you can use the Closed Beta version to create a Single Elimination tournament.
A Duel Tournament is a simple player vs. player or team vs. team match where the game's objective determines the winner. (I.e., most points, kills, higher score, etc.)
A Battle Royale tournament is a multiplayer-style match with players or teams competing against each other until one player or team remains standing. The Closed Beta version of the app does not support Team vs Team Battle Royale.
A Single Elimination tournament is a knockout round where players/teams are eliminated after losing one game/match, and the game winners continue to play until all but one player/team has been eliminated. The single player/team remaining is the winner of the tournament.

What if I want a Multi-Round Sponsored Tournament?
Here are a few steps to consider when starting your multi-round tournament:
- Determine your tournament type: Battle Royale or Single Elimination
- Decide how many players or teams you’d like in your tournament and how many rounds you will need for the whole tournament. You will need to create free tournaments for all qualifying rounds and matches and then request the final tournament to be sponsored.
- Apply for a sponsorship grant at least 24 hours before creating your tournaments to allow the support team time to review and approve your grant.
- Make your tournament private throughout to maintain the same players.
- Ensure you generate your invite code on the first page when setting up your tournaments.
- Start your tournaments!
- Remind participants to provide their in-game names (IGN) to the tournament organizers before the tournaments start. Have them post their IGN into the in-app tournament chat.
- After each tournament, select the winners of each qualifying round and invite them to the next round.
- Ask your participants to provide screenshots of tournament results and post them in the in-app tournament chat.
- If the above information is missing, sponsored prizes will not be paid.
- Ask your participants to provide screenshots of tournament results and post them in the in-app tournament chat.
- Select your winners and submit the results.
- Your winner will be notified and receive their funds within 24 hours after the Support and Compliance team verifies the results.
- Once the results are finalized, as a tournament organizer, you’ll receive an admin fee for hosting the tournament. (as long as you did not participate in the tournaments you hosted)
We currently do not support multiple elimination or matches. This feature is on our roadmap and should be available for open beta.
How to Create A Custom Player vs. Player Battle Royale Tournament
Decide how many players you’d like to join your tournament and how many rounds you will need for the whole tournament.
You will need to create free tournaments for all qualifying rounds and matches, and then request the final tournament to be sponsored.
For example, if you decide to do a 96-person battle royale tournament:
- You could split the tournament into three rounds.
- Round 1: 3 matches (96 people)
- Round 2: 2 matches (64 people)
- Round 3: 1 match (32 people)
- You would create three free private tournaments of 32 players each as initial qualifying matches for round 1, then move the players who advance into round 2 between two tournament matches and the final round with the top 32.
- The first two rounds are free, and the third and final round is sponsored.
- Apply for a sponsorship grant at least 24 hours before creating your tournaments to allow us to review and approve them.
- Set up your free private tournaments for your participants using the steps above. You can create each round one by one or make them all.
Example:- Game round 1 match 1, round 1 match 2, etc. (be creative!)
- Set your schedule, rules, and any restrictions
- Set it to private and generate your invite code
- You also have the option to add your banner
- Select Player vs Player mode
- Then select Battle Royale mode and the number of participants you need for this tournament.
- Click Publish to create your tournament successfully!
- Split your 96 users into three groups and send them the proper invite code to join your tournament.
- Have your participants provide their IGNs in your tournament in-app chat before starting your tournaments.
- Review the results at the end of round one, select your winners, close out your tournaments, and invite the winners from round one to round two.
- Create two matches for round two using the above steps.
- Share your invite code with your 64 winning participants.
- Review the results at the end of round two, select your winners, close out your tournaments, and invite the winners from round two to round three.
- Create and host round three (final) as a sponsored tournament!
- Share your invite code with your 32 winning participants.
- View the results, select your winner, and submit.
- Your winner will be notified and receive their funds within 24 hours after the Support and Compliance team verifies the results.
- Once the results are finalized, as a tournament organizer, you’ll receive an admin fee for hosting the tournament. (as long as you did not participate in the tournaments you hosted)

- Create two 1v1 matches for round two using the steps above.
- Share your invite code with your winning participants.

Unless you are creating mass multi-round tournaments, in this case, please apply for your grant at least 24 hours before creating your tournaments.
What Happens if Enough Players Do Not Register For a Tournament?
Tournaments have a specific number of participants set and will not start until the number of confirmed participants is reached.
The tournament will be canceled if there are not enough participants.
What Do I Do If I Think Someone Is Cheating?
We have zero tolerance for cheaters. If you believe that someone is cheating and have evidence, please submit a ticket through Discord elaborating along with any proof.
Receiving Prizes
After the tournament ends and the organizer selects the winners, you will be notified and receive your funds within 24 hours of the Support and Compliance team verifying your results if you have won.
As a reminder:
